Neoxen Systems has today announced general availability of Visual Modus QX Stream Release. It contains major improvements and enhancements to support distributed team work.

Neoxen Visual Modus is a collaboration application for departments and project teams. It supports working on wide range of project activities, from document collaboration to custom solutions with integrated workflows. Extending Collaboration

Visual Modus QX introduces Extended Link Protocol to enrich collaboration in new ways. It extends data distribution allowing users to link and share any data through Visual Modus Views. Links can be used without limitations inside other applications and systems, such as Microsoft Office and CAD applications. Visual Modus QX supports FTP and WebDAV protocols allowing users to access major Project Web Portals and Web Content Management Systems.

Improved Support for Standards Compliant Documentation

Centralized Document Template Libraries allow users to create any kind of new documents based on organization specific document templates and seed files. Organizer tool supports managing and synchronizing local and server copies of documents. It also provides Briefcase functionality for traveling users.

Seamless Part of Microsoft Product Families

Visual Modus QX operates as an integral part of Microsoft Office 2007 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008. Visual Modus allows users to access the entire information stored in corporate infrastructure without the need to leave their familiar productivity and development tools.

Power Desktop for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS)

In addition to default web and mobile access, Visual Modus opens a new direct Windows interface to 2007 Microsoft Office SharePoint Server services. As one of the first Windows Vista certified information management products Visual Modus extends MOSS with advanced features especially targeted for project organizations.
